Dad -- I've been enjoying the stories and photos that you've been sending via email so much that I thought we should put some of them up on the Web for everyone to see. Hope you like the results. It's been a lot of fun for me. Just do us a favor and watch out for "deer driving jeeps" in the future... ;-)

Don-I would like to say that all of the stories that I sent to you were true except the ship wrecked series which was sent with tounge in cheek to elicite a laugh from our family members, as I tried to do with the deer-catches-man story. But be assured the other stories all happened as reported, with possibly the knife in Jim Johnsons mouth!

To my daughter Joan, I am very sorry, not everyone knows as you do, that the photos were taken while we lived in Monticello. With your permission I will go back to the computer, and write only ten or twelve stories or more! With Love, Dad

Uncle Le, thanks for sharing your wonderful stories. I just read the one about Jim Johnson, my brother-in-law. i always knew he was a great guy but I had no idear! I only have one question, When Jim was busy saving you all, where in the world was my sister Liz?? I can't imagine she was in the boat, cheering him on!

Maureen: Your Sister may have been at the beach, shopping, or with your two aunt Joan's relaxing in the yard under the orange tree, waiting to greet the great shark fisherman.

Just to let you know I check into your page regularly and do enjoy hearing from all these people. Unfortunately I do not recognize some of the names, but that's O. K. for me as they love you too and that's all that counts. We are still sitting and waiting for that special buyer. Love, Will

Just checking in and I noticed a few typos I had made in my last message to you. I promise to be more careful in the future. Had a neighbor check out the house yesterday and she will come by with her husband Saturday. Keep praying for this to happen. Love to all you people out there and let me know who you are and where you are. William Ahlers, Lee's brother
